It's nice to meet you!
Here's a bit about my history. I come from a bicultural upbringing built on a rich blend of Moroccan heritage and American spirit, which has shaped my lens on the world. Since childhood, summers in Morocco have been a ritual; a time to reconnect with family, language, and the vibrant culture that runs through my veins. These experiences didn’t just teach me where I’m from; they sparked a lifelong love for people, stories, and perspectives beyond borders. They’ve made me adaptable, open-minded, and always eager to embrace the unknown. Whether it’s trying something new or diving into a challenge, I thrive in the in-between, where curiosity meets courage.

My mindset
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of multi-potentiality, the curiosity to explore many passions, and the ambition to pursue them. This spirit was sparked early on when I first joined Girl Scouts in Kindergarten, my introduction to leadership, adventure, and community.
Languages became my first gateway into the cultural world. I began learning French and Arabic in first grade, reconnecting with my Moroccan roots, and deepening my understanding of my identity. That cultural curiosity soon found its expression in performance and movement.
At seven years old, I began horseback riding, an early lesson in trust, grace, and self-discipline. I fell in love with performing and joined Rhythm Street Dance Center, giving me a new outlet to express myself through rhythm and motion. Soon after, I began participating in plays and musicals at my middle school, helping me to find my voice. My love for challenge and collaboration led me to team sports.
I started with soccer, then swimming, followed by track, and finally field hockey. Each sport taught me something unique: perseverance, focus, and the value of teamwork. All the while, I was building a creative world of my own.
At 11, I joined cooking classes and competed in challenges. At 12, I picked up my first canvas and paintbrushes; by 13, I invested in a GoPro, documenting and exploring the world visually. Finally, at 19, in my first Media Arts & Design course at JMU, everything came full circle. I realized that all these experiences were leading me toward a passion for creating stories that resonate.
Now, with my Bachelor's in Media Arts & Design: Creative Advertising and my minor in Civic Leadership, I channel this multifaceted background into work that’s bold, thoughtful, and human. All while blending design, storytelling, culture, and strategy to craft meaningful narratives.
Personal projects
Ever since I was little, sketching has been one of my quiet joys. My process is simple; I search for inspiration online, find something I like, and bring it to life with a pencil and paper. It's how I first discovered my love for art and my skill in developing it. I am a very observational person, and each sketch is a reflection of how I see, interpret, and connect with what inspires me.
